About Hartsboro Pottery

Kate Goetz and Sumio Seo met while both potting in Asheville, NC.  Their path lead them to Vermont in 2004 when they found property in Kate’s hometown of Wallingford.  They rescued two old farm outbuildings from states of disrepair, and created their studio and gallery in the valley of the Green Mountains.  Hartsboro Pottery opened in 2006.

Our shop is open regularly from May through the end of December, or by appointment year-round.  Please visit us!
